Applying to Cambridge?

The applicants are required to have top grades from secondary education (A-levels, IB, or equivalent), often with predictions of AAA or higher. Applicants also sit specialist admissions tests (e.g., TSA, MAT, LNAT, STEP, etc.) and attend academic interviews.

Many courses in Oxbridge require prior knowledge of certain subjects. This is why most successful candidates start their preparation at least 12-18 months before applying.

During the admission interview, students are expected to demonstrate true passion for their subject and intellectual curiosity, which involves independent exploration outside of school. Candidates should be prepared to face some challenging questions. From knowledge about the chosen course, to topics related to logic, politics and current affairs. We have selected some of the most interesting given questions.
