You have used all five choices on your UCAS application but you're not holding any offers? Don`t worry, you could still find a place by adding another choice using UCAS Extra.
How does it work?
If you included five choices on your application, have received decisions from all five, and weren’t accepted, or if you declined the offers you received, you will be able to use Extra. If you use Extra to add another choice you cannot reverse this to go back to your original five choices.
If you did not use all your choices in your initial application, you don't need to use Extra, you can just sign in to your application and add another choice, as long as it’s before 30 June, and you’ve not accepted or declined any offers.
If you don’t hold any offers after 5 July, you will be able to add an additional choice using Clearing.
What is Clearing?
Clearing is a process used by universities in the UK to fill any remaining places on their courses after the main application deadlines have passed. It provides an opportunity for students who did not receive any offers, rejected their offers, or did not meet the conditions of their offers to find available courses. Clearing opens after publication of exam results are published and continues until all places are filled.

21 Oct
Clearing Closes
This is the last day to add a Clearing choice.
Missed a Deadline?
If you don’t meet the main application deadline, you can still apply for many courses. It’s recommended to ask your adviser about vacancies first, especially for courses with a 16 October deadline, as these are highly competitive and late applications are rarely considered.
International and EU Students
Many universities and colleges continue to accept applications from international students until later in the year, closer to the beginning of the course. It’s essential to check with your eductaional adviser the available options. UNI Britannica streamlines the application process so you don't need to worry about remembering all of the deadlines.
