As the UK goes one step further to reopen the travel sector, the government has announced they will accept vaccine certificates from an additional 16 countries and territories, including China.

This means passengers, visiting the UK no longer need to self-isolate upon arrival if they can prove they are fully vaccinated with the Chinese CODIV vaccine.

From 11 February all testing requirements for the fully vaccinated travellers have been removed. This will affect also people that have been double jabbed with Sinovac. Restrictions for not fully vaccinated have also been eased. If they are not coming from a „red country “, they need to take only a Pre-departure test and a PCR test within 48 hours after they arrive in the UK. All visitors still have to fill out a simplified passenger locator form.

As the UK will be reconnecting with key global markets, earlier this month the governments confirmed a restart of UK-China flights.

Virgin Atlantic will test the return of 2 direct flights London LHR - Shanghai PVG from next week. The company already put on sale the tickets. See the schedule and prices below.
