Student Finance

EU Students with Pre-Settled status can still apply for Student Finance. If they enrol to an Undergraduate Course they can apply for Tuition Fee and Maintenance Loan as well as for a Master`s loan.

Can EU students without UK Settled or Pre-settled Status apply for a Student loan from the UK Government after January 2021?

Students from the EU without UK Residential Status will no longer be eligible for student loans in England after the academic year 2020. This will apply to all Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, starting in September 2021. 1. Hi Arkadiusz. First of all, you would have a better chance to find a job if you have a higher degree in general, as this would validate your knowledge and capabilities. It is true that employers in the UK prefer highering well-educated and highly competitive people. This is why lots of universities here offer a work placement or internship to their students at the end of their studies. This would help them to develop valuable experience, professional skills, and business insight to increase their chance when applying for a job.
